Beverly Fleming

Beverly June Fleming, 85, of Finleyville, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister whose life was defined by kindness, loyalty, and quiet strength, along with a joyful spirit that could light up any room.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Niki Alen Happel (2020), and by her parents, Mildred Williams and Alfred K. Williams.

Beverly is survived by her cherished grandchildren, Aja Nikole Happel and Rhet Lindsay Happel, who were the greatest joys of her life, and by her loving brother, Alfred James Williams.

Beverly was known for being fun, full of life, and unforgettable. Her presence was always felt the moment she entered the room. She had a natural gift for making people laugh, feel welcome, and feel at ease.

She was also a proud hairdresser throughout her life, a career that allowed her to build close relationships and bring confidence and beauty to so many.

Brace beagling was one of Beverly’s greatest passions and a tradition that ran deep in her family. She had been involved in the sport since she was very young, and it remained a constant throughout her life. It was more than a hobby. It was a way of life, bringing together family, friends, and generations through shared time outdoors, dedication to the dogs, and a love for the sport that she carried with pride.

Beverly will be remembered for her warmth, her humor, her strong spirit, and the deep love she had for her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held from 10am to 12noon Monday in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., David P. Kegel, Supervisor 3560 Washington Avenue Finleyville.  Funeral services will begin at 12noon at the conclusion of visitation with interment following in Mingo Cemetery.
